I'm so excited to be starring as Lucy Chu in the world premiere of Issei, He Say (Or Myth of the First) by Chloé Hung (Ava DuVernay's Queen Sugar) and directed by Lisa James at New Jersey Repertory Company in Long Branch, NJ.

"Issei, He Say" is a story about family, told with humor and pathos, about being the first generation in a new country, the ups-and-downs of fitting in, the history they carry with them, and the prejudices that follow them. "Issei, He Say" runs April 19-May 20 at NJ Rep! Call 732-229-3166 or visit njrep.org to buy tickets today!

I have the pleasure and privilege of working this gem of a play. It's a truly beautiful story that features a stunningly talented cast of Asian-American actors such as Stan Egi, Kathleen Kwan and Fenton Li. Please come see it if you can!
